This is the book that I am reading right now. Very amusing and reminded me of my growing up years and the funny things that I did. It mentioned how a hyperactive child was given her own space and time to learn and subsequently conform to the societal rules and norms not through constant scoldings and punishment but through her own experience. A very engaging read despite the very easy vocabulary. highly recommended for those who are in teaching line ( to recharge your passion for teaching), those who are would be parents, those who simple love children and finally anyone who wanted to see how naughty they were when they were growing up.
I identified myself in her... I must have caused my mother lots of grief. I have yet to finish the book, but I started this week and I only read for an hour a day, I have about 1/4 of the book left.
Please be warned, you might attract curious glances from the public if you are going to be reading this book in public. You probably can't help but laugh out loud when you read about her experiments and trials.
Try it, you wont regret it!
