Yesterday i officially started to delve full time into this spring cleaning business for the iminent CNY. Kinda late i know.. but been busy doh~

Started out with minor stuff and today im reorganising my entire room and its a mess really it is.

Yesterday, I started to plant ribbons along the corridors.. not to decorate the corridors but to colour up the leafy plants right outside my home. Then went to decor those in the balcony and was cleaning up the toilets (my forte and my pet peeve - Super duper clean toilets) when my mother started grousing about the blinds that's been more than 20 years old not cooperating after she scrubbed them clean.

So since I was also thinking of reorganising my work desk.. filled with stacks and stacks of notes and books (reference, library and whatnots) I suggested us going to Ikea to quickly grab some stuff back and continue with the spring cleaning.

What resulted was a sumptous tea with my mother at the Ikea cafeteria, with meatballs and poached salmon *yum* and 3 trolley full of loot.

Heh, so much for grabbing some stuff back quickly.
We intended to go buy new blinds and me magazine holders and we really got more than what we have bargained for.

Total shopping bill : close to 500$
Satisfaction gained from the shopping experience : priceless

cliche i know.. but heck.. i gotta make a blog post soon anyway ;P
