The world has been changing, so much im beginning to think that humans are like machinery, just like the chickens are the machinery for the chicken farm. What they do all day long apart from eating, is popping eggs to feed our egg-hungry countrymen.

In the papers recently, there has been quite a big hooha about the budget the government is setting aside for all fellow men, there's been talk that this budget plans are for the up and coming elections, something to sweeten our senses before we draw a huge cross on the vote for the government in your constituency.

Then there's also plans to engage policemen to be part-time nanny of the future of our nation - young children. I mean excuse me.. you mean not only teachers are nanny of these children, the police too? because of a lack in the number of crimes cases in the puritan state of good ol' Sg?

What have the parents been doing?
Do they know what is called responsibilities? I have seen young parents carrying one babe in one arm and holding on to another with their other hand. And the hands of these young children are more younger children in tow.

Have they ever stopped to think what happen to these children if they do not fulfill their responsibilities as parents? Do they just allow them free rein over everything? no wonder the number of underaged pregnancies are on the rise again, with these parents not doing anything or only create more trouble when the crisis arise.

Theyare behaving just like the chickens in the coop, popping out the babies after 3 trimester and not caring and nurturing them as they should. But the thing about chickens in the coop is that they do not have the means to take care of their eggs, because the eggs are being consumed by consumers. Now, the parents have the means with baby bonus, paternal leave, maternal leave and what nots but what have they been doing? nothing! It is totally infuriating to know there exist such people!

I do know of people with poor family upbringing, not only do they have bad habits like gambling, smoking and even drug abuse.... they become the social leeches of our society.

are we going to allow these social degradation happen as it is now, by condoning what parents are not doing? bringing up their child to be morally upright and socially responsible beings?

It sure seems that way to me...
