Its a headache having to plan for the wedding.

If ony I hadn't splurged the money on an housing agent I would have had the money to engage a wedding planner! ugh.. the injustice of it all!

It is quite a big headache especially since you have to make sure that you can get a good date and the hotels comply to everybody's standard.

My dad wanted me to hold my wedding at The Fullerton, I wanted to hold it at a slightly better than average hotel, but my MIL wanted it to be a simple and cheap affair.

The agony of it all.
for one, I will not hold it at a restaurant because of my father's status.
Restaurant too chin cai, I dont deem it proper also if he were to invite his friends.

for two, I dont want to hold it at a high end hotel because the bill would be too huge for the two of us to bear. With the house coming up and all.. its a real pain to bear the cost of these two big items in our meagre take home pay.

I have also decided not to take a bridal package in Singapore. That being considered first because i think it is just crap to pay for a super duper expensive package MLM only to have to return the gown at the end of the day... or to keep the gown in your wardrobe.

Its just a gown... its not like i would be wearing it for the rest of my live. neither do i think it is practical lar.

So i probably do a rental of gowns and suits from JB ( the cost is about 50% lesser than Sg's!)
I might not take up a photography package. It again depends. Because I find it a waste of money to take all the pictures only to keep it in the cupboard after the big day.

All that money wasted for nothing!

I am still waiting for the man to return with a list of auspicious dates for me to hold my customary... and if the good days are on a weekday.. I will jolly well get married on a weekday.

such are the dilemma of having to get married and harried by nosy parkers who wanted to have a say in MY wedding... despite knowing that it is MY wedding.
