Not so much of an update actually..

for those of you who have been to my new abode, you would have known that the furnishing are very minimal. After having lived by myself for 4 months, I finally conceded defeat to the reality of our lack of storage space.

So we bought 4 items from IKEA last week. 2 chest of drawers for our thousand and one clothing/bedding and bathing needs and another 2 cabinets for the storage of our books and other barang like my craft materials. -.-

However, being the procrastinator that we both are, we have yet to organise our materials into the new storage areas. firstly, there was the problem of the smell. the acidic smell of laxcquer that accompanies all new furniture - is enough to put you off trying to keep your stuff in them until at least the smell dissipates. Then there is the other problematic issue of having to reorganise your barang so that they can fit nicely into the cabinets.

I am so lobbying for a maid right now. haha
And I think from the looks of it, we will finally get one soon. For us and only us.

bless the kind soul who gladly relieve me of this duty of having to pack up my uncountable bags of barang.
