Been ages since I really read- in fact I havent read since My baby was borned.
i dont count baby encyclopedia or breastfeeding helpbooks reading - those are for studying purposes.

I read because I enjoy reading... not because its a necessity like for an examinations or for more details.. you get the drift.

Started to read some books talking about psychic powers about 2 weeks ago.. I had like 6 books with me which i devoured in like a working week. Talk about being dehydrated.. I was most glad to absorb the books and lose some sleep over the books. It kind of bring back some decency in my life.. especially since I hardly go paint the town red with girlfriends ever since the arrival of the little one.

So since last week we were going to the mall for our dinner and there was a community library there, I thought we would drop by for some baby books which I was reluctant to buy. Instead of just baby books, I borrowed 3 novels, and 2 baby books.
It took me a longer time than normal to finish the 3 books but I was glad I borrowed the one called " The other woman" So cool, it talked about a marriage just like mine.
And it talked about post natal family relationships. I could identify with the author and although the book was set in a totally different setting, I guess most women feel the same way about having a baby.. and most couples face the same old problems i guess.

I cried and i laugh with the book.. especially when one of the girls mentioned.. "the world's deadliest weapon must be my husband's bottom" - with the distinct reference to her husband's weird habit to fart under the sheets.

I thank god for having allowed me be the first borrower of the book and thus opened my eyes to the meaning of tolerance and love and family as well as the dynamics that makes a marriage work.

Love the book and thank God I Read it =)
